I was invited to write a monologue for Playful Substance’s 2023-2024 season kickoff Play Date! My subject was Christopher Columbus reckoning with his legacy in the Afterlife. Hilarious!

I am part of the 5th generation of Raised Pinay, which focused on Filipina (Pinay) motherhood; so, people who grew up Pinay and are raising Pinay or Pinoy children.

This year, more than any other, I’ve been enraptured with the cherry blossoms and other blooms in New York City.

I had the great pleasure of attending and photographing an evening of classical Indian dance and music by Brooklyn Raga Massive at Chelsea Factory.
